What Happens in Vegas Does Not Stay in Vegas Revisited: “Gambling with Peoples Lives”

In a blog piece, Redeeming Qualities, on May 21, I referenced a piece on gambling in Illinois written by ProPublica. I strongly suggest you go to their site to read their recent story on the spread of Covid-19 from Vegas. Back on May 28 I wrote a piece, Liability, questioning how the State might act/take a responsible path to reopening casinos. I was, and still am, a believer that casinos are the last thing we need to offer our financially struggling society and more importantly the real possibility of creating super spreader environments.

This post’s purpose is for you read the ProPublica article.
